The Mini USB Lightning Wire Harness is wired to a fused source of ignition and initiates an ON command to the handset when ignition power is activated.
This harness is designed to be helpful with such things as:
-Handset shutoff (if the handset shuts down, the harness will turn it back on within 90 seconds of ignition activation).
-Vehicle battery drain (only charges the handset and pulls from the battery while vehicle is in use).
-Memory overload (start fresh everyday by erasing unnecessary memory stored on the handset that can drag down performance).
